‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers love how celebrating the Horton family is bringing out their worst.
There are few shows capable of making a reason to celebrate into a funeral or spectacle, but ‘Days of Our Lives’ pulls it off.
The opening of the new Horton Clinic and the show’s 60th anniversary is the perfect backdrop to show the Hortons, warts and all.
In this case, it’s focused on Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) as she tries to rip Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)’s children from him.
We think she blames Chad for letting Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) be murdered, and her grandchildren are as close to having Abigail back as she’ll get.
So, if Chad doesn’t give in, she’ll sue him for custody.
She claimed Jack Deveraux (Mathew Ashford) is behind her, and she’s counting on her fellow Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) hater.
But Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) might surprise her, and that’s a good shock.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Julie loves Chad like a son
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoiler will never doubt Julie’s love for Chad. And while she hates Cat for what she did, part of her does understand why she did what she did.
Clyde Weston (James Read) abused both their families, but he’s in a coma. So, Cat and her family get the hate meant for him.
Unlike Jennifer, Julie admitted to Chad that it wasn’t Cat they were all mad at, it was him. They were disappointed in Chad for giving her another chance, or rather, hurting them.
But at no point was Julie worried about Chad’s children. If anything, she’s constantly praised him for being a great dad.
So, when Jennifer announced her plans to sue Chad Julie looked shocked.
What will Julie do?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Julie will convince Chad to work with Jennifer
As much as we’d love for Julie to join everyone else in town and tell Jennifer to get some therapy, we think she’ll try to negotiate a peace between them.
After Chad ripped into her, Julie will now see what he meant: that she and Jennifer have been gaslighting everyone they could. Especially Chad’s kids.
She’ll try to talk Jennifer off the ledge and may succeed to a point. But she’ll know for Jennifer’s well being she needs to do this since therapy isn’t possible or Jennifer’s therapist isn’t helping.
So, she’ll go to Chad and talk him around to coming to an agreement where his children can go with Jennifer for a short time. Maybe a week or month, and he can go see them.
Julie will try to protect her family, and this will be the only way she can. It’ll also show how much Chad loves his children by not putting them through a trial.
It won’t matter to Jennifer, as she’ll be full of her Horton piousness. She definitely won’t waste any chance she has to poison his children against him and Cat if needed.
After all, she hasn’t missed a chance yet, so why start? It’s not her style.
