‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers usually love seeing old favorites come back.
Unfortunately for Jack Deveraux (Mathew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), they only come back to mourn Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller).
In their recent trip back, Jennifer joined Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in attacking Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
The fact she and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) were dating only made it worse.
We understand why they’re hurting. No one wants to lose a daughter, but given the circumstances they seem to hold on out of spite.
Despite their claims, they don’t want Chad with anyone else. He and Abigail were the love of each other’s lives, so it makes sense.
But to hate on Cat for doing what she did to protect her family when they’d do the same thing really puts the Horton pious hypocrisy on display.

‘Days of Our Live’ Spoilers: Close but can’t do it
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers love how everyone is trying to coax Jennifer into opening up, forgiving, and moving forward.
She has every right to hate Clyde Weston (James Read) for murdering Abigail, and it’s fine if they can’t forgive Cat for being forced to do what Clyde demanded.
Even though she was trying to save her family, it makes sense if forgiveness is a hurdle too much for Jennifer.
But she hates her, and we think it’s because it’s the ultimate betrayal portraying Abigail. Her hate only deepened when Chad started falling for her.
Jennifer even tried to argue transference as to why Chad loved Cat. In her mind, Chad can only be with Abigail and that’s how it should be.
Julie even fell into that when Chad asked her, and she had no rebuttal aside from denying it.
Cat is the focal point of everything bad that happened to Abigail and they can’t move on.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Raising Thomas right
Though Jennifer told Chad she would tell Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) that he can’t live with her and Jack in Boston, we think she’ll change her mind.
Or there’s a pretty good possibility that she will.
Realizing she can’t make Chad promise not to see her when they live in the small town was the catalyst.
Once she’s had a second to think it over, we think she’ll encourage Thomas to live with them. She’ll then bully Jack into agreeing with her.
When Chad refuses to allow it to happen, we expect Jennifer will try the legal route and have Chad declared an unfit father.
That would allow her to take and raise Thomas and maybe even his sister.
This is extreme, but at this point we think Jennifer will do anything to feel she’s protecting her family from Cat.
Anything but get some serious therapy for herself.
