‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers show that in an upcoming storyline, Whitley King (Kim Coles) will reach a drastic decision to permanently eliminate Lani Grant (Sal Stowers).
Now that Lani knows a sensitive truth, Whitley fears the consequences of her exposing it to the police and Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) family.
Consequently, Whitley will resort to extreme measures to ensure Lani’s silence. However, these actions take a toll on Whitley’s mental well-being. Despite her medical background with a commitment to do no harm, the weight of her deeds begins to weigh heavily on her conscience.
Whitley will suffer a mental break, causing her to lose touch with reality. She may find herself imagining scenarios as if she were part of an episode of “Body and Soul,” or even believing that her late husband is still alive, leading to confusion between him and Abe in her distorted mindset.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Whitley King (Kim Coles) Faces A MENTAL Break?
Thankfully, Lani will eventually be rescued, but there will be perilous moments where her survival hangs in the balance. Nevertheless, it becomes evident that Whitley’s actions not only endanger others but also pose a significant threat to her own well-being.
Upon learning about Whitley’s distressing situation, Marlena will pay her a visit, most likely at the hospital given her mental state. Days spoilers suggest that Marlena will assess Whitley’s condition and may consider recommending her to receive treatment at Bayview.
Despite the gravity of Whitley’s crimes, Marlena might show compassion and advocate for the help she needs to cope with the loss of her husband and the unhealthy fixation she developed for Abe.
The circumstances surrounding Whitley’s actions appear to have pushed her to a breaking point, indicating that treatment and recovery are more fitting solutions than mere punishment.
What do you think? Will Marlena send Whitley to the mental institution so that she can hopefully get the treatment she needs? Let us know in the comments below.
