‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers find that Carlivati and crew were at it again on April Fools Days with their ridiculous…ly fun storylines.
With Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) as John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) executioner, Claire Brady…I mean, Kiriakis (Isabel Durant) poisoning Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Priest Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Nun Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) playing dress-up and strip-down, we can’t say we were actually fooled, but there was one leaked storyline we had gobbled up.

Early spoilers had mentioned a surprise baby for one Salem couple and we ate that spoiler up, not knowing it was part of the April 1st prank show.
Well, it definitely was a surprise baby for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). While we had chortled at the possibility that Kayla could be pregnant with Dr. Rolf’s ‘Stefano DiMera (the late, great Joseph Mascolo) Fetus’, that’s exactly what we got to see on Thursday, complete with Kayla giving birth to goateed Stefano the Sequel in the Brady Pub!
How undignified for The Phoenix to rise again amongst the bar rags and Xander’s binge-drinking empties!
While Carlivati may have tricked us with the baby storyline, it wasn’t the only shock up his sleeve. Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) woke from the coma John had induced after strangling her for threatening Belle Black’s (Martha Madison) life. While we know it was absolute tomfoolery that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) would be by Jan’s side (or in her bed), it seems Jan waking from her coma was very real.
Jan Spears in Salem (and conscious) is never a good thing for Shawn or Belle, but this time around it seems it’s John who Jan will be going after. She wants John to pay for puting her in her second coma, but is there anything Belle and (especially) Shawn can do to make her change her mind?
