It looks like we’re nearing the end of the storyline involving Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapleos) trying to steal Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s fortune, and there’s one way we think he deserves to go out.
We doubt it’s what the show has in mind, through they could surprise us.
For us, we’d love to see Victor return to protect Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers), but in a simple, respectful way to the character and deceased actor.
While it’s understandable doing anything with John Aniston’s likeness could be a touchy subject for his family, there is a way the show could work around it and give us and Konstantin the ending he deserves.
Pull up a chair and let’s explain.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Victor’s return
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers would love for Victor to return briefly and show that his love for Maggie is eternal by stopping Konstantin.
Our thinking is Victor’s painting could come alive and kill Konstantin.
How is the question as pretty much anyway would be cheesy, and while CGI would be an option we think it’d be better to use some old school methods out of respect to the character and John’s family.
It could be as simple as using some basic camera tricks from the 70s and 80s.
Konstantin would be gloating at the painting and turn away. A close up of Victor’s face in the painting, a cut to Konstantin’s face going from a smile to one of shock.
We’d then see from the floor level as his feet would lift into the air and he’d kick with strangling sounds.
Maggie and the others would hear the struggle and rush in, but when they get there Konstantin is dead on the floor and everything is back to normal, except maybe the painting of Victor has a certain gleam in his eye Maggie notices.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Perfect ending
To us, it’d be the perfect ending in so many ways and it’d let Maggie know that Victor was watching over her and it’d cement their love for eternity.
But this is an ending we doubt will happen. While it’ll be perfect for the show as they’ve had devil possessions and miracle cures right and left, we think they’ll want Maggie to prove herself.
This journey feels like the writers’ way of proving Maggie doesn’t need anyone’s help, and with them making Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) basically a failure at Titan, it’ll fit into their character development for her.
