‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that Soap Opera Digest has confirmed Salem will have a fresh face next week, as Vico Escorcia makes her debut as the new Arianna Horton.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Escorcia Has Much Soapy DOOL Drama Waiting for Her
Vico (Victoria) makes her first appearance on DOOL on Wednesday, April 8th. The new actress is assuming the role from Marissa Reyes, whose last air date as Arianna was March 25th.
According to Soap Opera Digest,
“Escorcia is of French and Mexican descent, and Days will mark her daytime debut.”
She was born in Mexico City and is fluent in several languages, including English, Spanish, and French.
However, the actress has several notable credits to her name. She starred in Mexican series like Paramedics and Netflix’s Se Llamaba Pedro Infante. She’s also played in the History Channel miniseries, Texas Rising.
Escorcia also won two Ariel Award nominations for her performance as Paquita in the 2023 Mexican crime thriller, Los Crimenes de Mar del Norte.
Most recently, she starred in the Apple + series Acapulco as Paloma. Of course, Ari is the daughter of Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey).
Arianna is also currently dating Salem’s cute new bad boy, Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop). She’s also currently on the outs with BFF and former college roommate, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).
We’ll undoubtedly see the new Ari patch things up with Holly. Ari will be shocked and livid over the lengths that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) went to in order to seek revenge on her friend.
Of course, DOOL fans know that Sophia switched Holly’s skin supplements with her own psychotropic medication. She even gave the pills to Rachel Black (Loreli Olivia Mote) and told her to give them to Holly as a present.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Arianna Was Last Played by Marrissa Reyes
So, Holly had a very understandable reason for behaving poorly toward her BFF. She had no idea that she was on psychotropic drugs that were not prescribed to her.
Right now, Holly, Tate Black (Leo Howard), and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) are trying to prove what Sophia did. We suspect that Arianna will soon join them in holding Sophia accountable for what she’s done.
The role of Arianna has been played by several different actresses. Ari was born in 2013 and played twins Harper and Sydnee Udell until 2019. Sydney Brower was the next to tackle the role of Gabi’s little girl, Ari.
Lane Rosa briefly took over in 2022. In May 2025, the character was SORASED into a college-aged teenager, played by Marrissa Reyes.
Marrissa Reyes posted a message on social media to her DOOL fans after leaving the soap. She admitted that she chose to leave DOOL.
She wrote,
“Although it was my choice, and my choice alone to make my exit from the show, I will always look back on this chapter with complete and honest attitude and affection. It’s bittersweet to end this chapter, but I am over the moon excited to welcome the next! Here’s to what’s coming!
While we’ll definitely miss Marrissa Reyes’s spirited portrayal of Ari, we also want to give a warm welcome to Vico Escorcia, the new Arianna Horton. We can’t wait until she makes her big Salem debut next week!
