‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers update for Thursday, March 21 relate some bad news for JJ! Haley flat out turns down his proposal of marriage to keep her from getting deported. Who could blame her, really, since his Dad is the one trying to get her thrown out? Could you imagine having that for an in-law? Sheesh! Haley says that their marriage would be called out as a fraud to begin with because of Jack, but JJ says that their former living arrangement could actually work in their favor. He believes that since she’s staying at his place, they could pull off a successful relationship ruse and the judge would allow her to stay in the good ol’ USA, but Haley isn’t having any of it. She doesn’t want him potentially getting into legal trouble because of her, leaving poor JJ frustrated.

When Haley relates this to Tripp, he thinks it’s a novel idea, but proposes that he take the place of the groom, Haley refuses at first, but Tripp, that smooth-talker, manages to talk her into this whole deal. I smell a painful love-triangle coming on! Sarah Horton and Maggie Kiriakis have a deep heart-to-heart about Sarah’s feelings for Eric. She tells Maggie of the kiss and how Eric tragically turned her down. Oh, woe is Sarah! Maggie provides a sympathetic ear as Sarah pours out her heart, grieving her seemingly lost potential love.

She has really fallen hard for Eric, so his rejection of her really hurts. When Maggie finds her, she’s quite heartbroken and is really devastated over the whole thing. As for Eric, you’d think that, if anything he would see that the Almighty understands matters of the heart far better than anyone else and wouldn’t hold him to that deal as stringently as he’s holding himself to it.
Meanwhile, in the land of good relationships, Rafe has planned a surprise for his wife, Hope. Their anniversary is coming up and he wants her to feel special, so he has planned a romantic dinner for just the two of them! How nice! They even renew their commitment to each other! But we all know that this is going to be short-lived, paradise rarely lasts long in soap opera relationships. But conflict makes for great stories, no? Stay tuned!!!
