‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers weren’t really shocked at how Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish) and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) manipulated Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) into helping them.
Of course, there’s always a chance things will go sideways. In fact, we say that’s a safe bet.
While it’s always fun to see Gabi and Stefan at work, this time they really crossed a line with Rachel and it’s going to have some really hard consequences they either didn’t think of or care about.
Not only are they going to get Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) at her worst when they confront her, but they’re going to create another enemy down the road in Rachel.

Gabi and Stefan did such a great job with her that we expect Rachel won’t trust anyone after this, especially since this could take her away from her mother.
And knowing she had a hand in this for falling for their tricks will make sure Rachel’s going to leave some scars, not to mention the damage this will do to any relationship she has with her father.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) can’t get out of his own desperate way and none of his family is helping him see straight, and when Rachel finds out he knew about this he’s going to lose the one thing he cares most about in the world.
This could lead to the show doing the one thing we hoped they wouldn’t, and that’s rapidly age Rachel.
And then all bets are off.

Since ‘Days of Our Lives’ opened up this rabbit hole, let’s go down it.
Rachel is absolutely awesome as she is, but this would open the possibility of rapidly aging her. After the dust settles, Kristen could leave Salem for a couple of months, and then come back with Rachel a teenager or fully grown.
This would allow them to really dive into her revenge plot on Stefan, or have her come out even worse with a harder edge than she already has and that would be something, especially if she’s more dangerous than Kristen.
To be honest, the show has needed a steady bad guy like Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) since the actor passed away, and Stefan would be a great choice since he has Stefano and Alamain DNA in him, but what if he has a hand in creating the next Phoenix instead?
It’d be a pretty cool thing to see.
