‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) hasn’t been seen much on the soap lately. However, that will soon change.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Belle Would Be Devastated If Anything Happens to Her True Love
Shawn is set to return to the canvas to assist with the investigation into Stephanie Johnson Kiriakis’s (Abigail Klein) abduction. Spoilers indicate that Shawn will be tragically shot while in the line of duty.
In the DOOL winter preview, Shawn is gunned down and left for dead on the ground. However, we have a feeling that he may be saved by none other than EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Belle Black (Martha Madison) will obviously be devastated if anything happens to her true love, Shawn. Yet he may be saved by the very drug that saved his own father, Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) life.
Belle also recently lost her beloved father, John Black (Drake Hogestyn). It would kill her if Shawn passed away, and as we all know, death is never an obstacle in Salem.
EJ may see his former lover in distress and admit to her that he’s been working in a lab in the hospital, specifically to test the effectiveness of the cutting-edge drug, Versavix.
Not to mention Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) miracle serum, which has evidently brought someone close to EJ back to life.
We highly suspect that the person in that resurrection tube is Lexie Carver (now played by Nikki Crawford). On Christmas Eve, EJ was talking to whoever it was in the tube and expressed his remorse over ‘what happened in the past.”
Of course, we predict that EJ could be referring to how Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) had held Lexie captive in the DiMera tunnels, which led to Lexie developing an incurable form of cancer.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ Recognizes How Important Shawn Is to Belle
Stefano DiMera (Joe Mascolo) always harbored deep regret for what happened to his daughter over a decade ago and would have done everything to have had things end differently, and EJ knows that.
Beneath his dastardly persona and his signature English charm, EJ has a huge heart. He truly cares about his family and shows great compassion. He also loved Belle when they were together.
EJ recognizes how important Shawn is to Belle and may offer to help her. He could tell her about the animal testing trials that Dr. Rolf conducted.
Dr. Rolf brought all those dead rats back to life. EJ knows firsthand that Dr. Rolf is more than capable of achieving remarkable feats beyond what the average human can pull off.
That might be enough to convince Belle to take a chance and let Dr. Rolf perform his magic. Belle may also take into consideration that her daughter, Claire Brady (last played by Isabel Durant), has suffered some serious mental health issues.
Years ago, Claire had a mental breakdown. Of course, Belle doesn’t want her “Claire Bear” to experience the loss of her father.
There are many reasons Belle might decide to take a leap of faith and trust EJ with Shawn’s life. It would be a very dramatic, high-stakes situation.
If Shawn were to live, it could make Belle finally see that she and Shawn belong together. Sometimes it takes a near-death experience or a miracle to help someone see the truth.
