‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Role of Vivian Alamain to Be Recast, One Life To Live’s Robin Strasser Likely To Play Role

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers relate that Vivian Alamain will be recast. We love the character, Vivian Alamain, but we have heard rumors that this role will be recast. Recently, Robin Strasser has been spotted on the set of Days of Our Lives. She is an Emmy award-winning actress and we are happy to hear that there are rumors floating around that she will be cast as Vivian!

We’ve also seen her name all over social media lately. One of the cast members took pictures of Strasser in make-up and put it up on Instagram. We are excited to see if she is cast as Vivian. We will not be able to get an answer for quite a few months though.

On Twitter, we saw Strasser get very excited in a post about a new and thrilling opportunity for her. We know how much we loved her when she played Dr. Dorian Lord on One Life to Live. Fans may also remember her from Passions as Hecuba.

The real question on everyone’s mind is who will she play? The show does film about six months in advance so we won’t even know who she is playing until the summer time. The suspense is driving us crazy!  The rumors are spreading and we have heard that she could be playing Vivian, Kate’s mother or sister, or even Vivian’s sister. Perhaps with the addition of Strasser, we may see some of the drama with Stefan getting all wrapped up. It is also going around that Strasser could be playing a completely new character to show and perhaps she brings even more drama with her. 

We are very excited to see her back on daytime soap operas and we know that she is very happy to be working with Ron Carlivati again, who she worked with on One Life to Live.

Louise Sorel played Vivian previously and we have read in many interviews that she was not happy when she left the show, but she never mentioned the true reasons why. We would like to see Vivian played by Strasser, but we will have to wait and see just what happens. We all know that Vivian is Stefan’s mother, so we could see some changes in his role with the addition of a new Vivian, but we just won’t be able to tell for at least six more months!
