Days of Our Lives spoilers relate that while being in between two head-strong women in a messy triangle might seem like hell for some people, Matthew Ashford doesn’t seem to mind it all. That’s because his character Jack Deveraux is dealing with it on screen! As a matter of fact, the handsome Days of Our Lives star recently revealed that Jack’s complicated love life has been a lot of fun for him, mostly because he gets to work with two of the most talented actresses in the industry: Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton) and Kassie DePaiva (Eve Donovan).

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Matthew says that being caught between two leading ladies has been nothing less than a whole lot of fun for him. He said that it’s been great seeing how their characters and storylines have developed in recent months, too. He explained, ‘Missy has kind of graduated to senior level and carrying storyline person on the show. I realized that when she was doing the drug addiction story. It was very heavy. She was serious, not playing around. She’s a great actress.”

Matthew also has nothing but praise for his co-star Kassie, too. He added, “She is amazing. She’s had to do some really intense stuff that was not light for air at all.”
The soap star also says that even though the two women play enemies in front of the cameras, off screen they are the best of friends. Matthew said, “Missy and Kassie love each other as friends but when they get on cameras together it’s like oil and water. It’s amazing. All I have to do is walk in between them. It’s just so full and there’s so much going on, that you don’t have to dig at all. Kassie’s ready to play, Missy’s ready to play, and the scene can go any number of ways.”
