‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that DOOL knocked it out of the park with the resolution of Tesoro’s journey in the November 5th episode.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Leo And Javi Shared A Bittersweet Goodbye With Tesoro
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) were heartbroken when they had to give up their “Little T.”
Rikaart and Calderon were especially gut-wrenching and moving as the couple who took in the baby they fell in love with had to let him go.
Found at the fire station after Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) secretly gave birth in her room and dropped her son in the Safe Haven box, Leo and Javi were instantly smitten.

The entire Hernandez family gathered to spend one last morning with Tesoro. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) went around the house collecting all the baby items they had purchased for the little guy since he moved in with them.
Arianna Horton (Marrisa Reyes) arrived home for the occasion, and while she skipped class, Gabi reassured her daughter, telling her she was exactly where she needed to be.
The ending was bittersweet for Leo and Javi, and of course, Leo had to crack one of his trademark jokes to try to lighten the mood.

“I’m getting verklempt,” he quipped, while attempting to hold back his tears. Gabi was uncharacteristically sweet to Leo and gave him a warm hug.
He admitted he often makes silly jokes to try to cover his emotions, and they all understood. The Hernandez family and the baby met up with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) at Horton Square.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: A Bright New Beginning For Johnny And Chanel, and A Silver Lining For Leo And Javi
It was a bright new beginning for Johnny and Chanel, who had endured much heartbreak on their journey to become new parents.
Miscarriage, adoption challenges, not to mention the trial for EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting, had all led up to the moment in which they were finally given the miraculous gift of this precious little baby, who they knew would bring them so much joy.

The Hernandez family was facing an ending as they shared a tearful goodbye and handed the baby over to the happy couple.
However, there is a silver lining for Leo and Javi. Johnny and Chanel asked them to be Tesoro’s godparents.

They also changed little T’s name to Trey (Joesph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue), meaning John III, in honor of Johnny’s namesake, the late John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Naming the baby Trey was a significant move following the passing of actor Drake Hogestyn. It was a wonderful tribute to him. Everyone who played in today’s scenes involving Tesoro spun soap gold and evoked genuine emotion.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Two Legacy Families Forever Linked By The Love Of A Precious Baby
Greg Rikaart and Al Calderon played every beat of the story’s conclusion beautifully as Javi told Leo, as if he were losing his daughter all over again. It seemed very symbolic when Javi later found one of little T’s favorite pacifiers left in his crib.
Leo was steadfast and supportive of his boyfriend, who was Javi’s anchor for a change, when it’s usually the other way around.

Leo’s redemption arc has been masterful, with Rikaart always on point. We saw even more character growth from him during the time Javi and Leo were caring for Tesoro.
We’re also going to really miss Calderon when he makes his exit from Salem. We can only hope the next Javi is half as talented an actor as he is.

The writers were also wise to unite two legacy families, both bonded with this child. The Hernandez and DiMera families are forever linked by their love for little Trey.
The baby story we had hoped would end months ago, surprising us with a poignant, heartfelt, and emotionally satisfying conclusion.
