‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristian Alfonso Opens Up About the Real Reason Princess Gina’s Back & Teases What’s Next!

While everyone surely thinks of themselves as royalty in Salem, there’s only one princess with a crown on her head, and that’s Gina.  Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, Kristian Alfonso, who plays Hope Brady on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way, “Even though it is a completely different Princess Gina, one thing that holds true and consistent is that what drove her, as it did in the past, was her passion and her love for John. Princess Gina and John really did have a relationship in the past, really did have a love affair and had planned their life together.

As far as what fans can expect next from Princess Gina, Kristian added, “She is pushed to the brink to take action and to do things that the past Princess Gina would not have done. I think she is so desperate to hang on to her new birth of being alive. And John’s in the same town, so she will do anything to hang on to that new breath. It all comes from a place of love and loneliness and loss.”
