‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are used to the Horton hypocrisy, but there have been moments where we hoped they’d move beyond it.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) showed she’s capable of doing that after Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) confronted her about poisoning his kids with her rhetoric.
Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) isn’t a bad person and what she did was under extreme duress with her mother’s life hanging in the balance.
Julie even told Chad Cat wasn’t the problem, it was her disappointment in him choosing her. Basically, choosing someone she didn’t approve of.
Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) had chances to grow up and learn.
Unfortunately, Chad and Jack Deveraoux (Mathew Ashford) gave her pass after pass instead holding her feet to the fire.
Even when there was peace, mostly on Jennifer’s terms, she held the Horton hypocrisy flag high and proud when defending Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark).
Julie is the same way with him, and she also regularly called Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) a saint despite Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) killing him in self-defense.
At this point, we can’t help but wonder if the writers are trying to expose the Hortons or what.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Jeremy’s not guilty
‘Days or Our Lives’ Spoilers want to make it clear that we don’t think Jeremy is guilty.
He’s not stalking and threatening Stephania Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson)
We think he was, after all, he walked behind Alex in the square at Halloween.
He was the only one wearing his outfit behind Alex when he tried to slice him, cutting Alex’s shirt instead.
For whatever the reason, the writers either changed their mind or tried a lazy misdirection.
So we don’t mind Jennifer’s final defense of Jeremy. What we do mind is how he’s a saint and innocent while Cat is the ultimate evil.
After all, Jeremy is given another chance while Cat is to be drawn and quartered. The hypocrisy is strong with this one.
She was worried about Chad putting his kids in danger, but it’s okay for Jeremy to be their teacher despite his history.
Granted, they don’t know what all he did to Stephanie, but that wouldn’t change their minds. Jennifer would write an op-ed about how he’s being vilified unfairly.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: No end in sight
When the real culprit behind it is discovered (our money is it’ll be Wes Ramsey’s character), Jennifer and Julie will celebrate it not being Jeremy.
Though there is a chance Jeremy is tied up in it as a minor role. After all, he’s leaving town about the time Stephanie will probably be kidnapped, so it’s possible.
But he’s also leaving the show, so anything that’s done will have to be done off screen.
We doubt Jennifer will ever learn her lesson, but maybe that will happen offscreen too?
Will there ever be an end to the Horton hypocrisy, or will they always be the unpunished villains? Let us know in the comments below.
