‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that even though Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) is running around memory-free, even he can see right through Elusive Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva)’s conniving schemes. There were some big moments yesterday, as well as a lot of filler, so if you missed yesterday’s Days of Our Lives, get ready to catch up on all the action in your daily Days of Our Lives recap. ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Thursday, January 4 Recap – Jack Was Treated in Nashville, Thanks To Dr. Rolf’s Concoctions
So, we all know by now that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is back after supposedly dying years ago. We also know that Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) had a part in Jack’s return, and today we learn how. Remember the initials that were all over that building that blew up? Well, the show confirms today that one of the people being treated in Nashville was Jack.

Thanks to Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) out-there concoctions, Jack survived. Much like Will Horton (Chandler Massey), though, he has no memory. Sadly, a lot of the episode was wasted on brief clips of Eve and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) (who was the one that rescued Jack from the building) setting up flashbacks for no apparent reason. And we must say that meeting in a place where people tend to be overheard plotting is a bad move for a fugitive and his latest accomplice in a scheme.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander Cook To Jack’s Rescue
Is there something in the Salem water that hinders people’s common sense? Anyway, in the flashbacks, we see them meet up in NY under the pretense that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was trying to meet with her. She’s freaked out at first, understandably, to see Xander. Xander, however, is only there to help.
He brings in Jack, Eve freaks, and when Xander sends Jack back to the other room, he explains how he’s the perfect bit of clay to mold for her revenge against Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). Eve has doubts, but she eventually gives in after he insists that his mind is completely blank.
After almost the entire hour, we finally get to the purpose of their square trip down memory lane. Eve has asked what the catch is in the last flashback, so now we find out what he wants. She hands him a flash drive with some information on it. Of course, what that is and what he’s planning to do with said information is still a mystery.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Jack Surprised by Jennifer, Confronts Eve
As for Jack, Jennifer shows up to the Salem Inn to bring him a photo album and talk. She’s floored to learn Xander and Dr. Rolf are still alive, and she gives him a lot to think about when she tells him the truth about his brief union with Eve. And can we just say one minute that we low-key kind of want him to stay memory-free? This outsider perspective on the insanity of Salem (Like when he asks how many weddings they had after she tells him about a picture from the first wedding. She assures him they’re below the Salem average.) Eve comes back in time to see Jennifer about to go and yells at her to leave him alone. After Jennifer leaves, he wants to know why Eve’s been lying. Oops.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gabi vs Abigail – Truce?
The other big thing today was the Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banius) vs. Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) feud. They had some great scenes together where Abigail confronts her over what she did. Gabi lays it all out how badly Abigail destroyed her life, and how seeing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was the father after learning she can’t have kids was the final straw. Several times during their talk, Mansi did a great job of playing the pity and even a bit of guilt herself in her reactions to some of Gabi’s words. In the end, Abigail declines to press charges but tells Gabi that there is no going back from this.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Other DOOL Spoilers
Hayley Chen’s (Thia Megia) suicide attempt was discovered, and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) has taken her off duty for now. Hayley blames JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) at first, but Kayla assures her it was another nurse that told her. JJ also asks Kayla later if she can get the stuff Will used to get his memory back for Jack. It’s not FDA approved and she had to turn everything over to the boss, but she’ll look into it.
