‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that teasers have been swirling and by reading between the lines, we have a very good feeling that Lani’s true father will be showing his face in Salem sometime soon….well, maybe.
As we know, Lani has been lied to her whole life about her true parentage. She grew up believing Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) was her mother and, as an adult, tracked down Abe Carver (James Reynolds), believing him to be her father…after all, that’s where the math led her.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Lani Price’s (Sal Stowers) Real Father About to Turn Up in Salem?
However, it has since been divulged (with a little help from the Devil…but, of course) that her over-involved Aunt Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) is Lani’s real mother. This revelation had Lani and audiences begging the question, “Who is Lani’s real father?”
Paulina’s description is vague at best, describing the elusive Ray as older and wealthier than Paulina…and abusive. It was his controlling, abusive ways that had Paulina and Tamara’s mother, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) concealing Paulina’s pregnancy and passing Lani off as Tamara’s daughter, however, now WE all know the truth, Ray is sure to find out also.
Details on Ray’s return are about as vague as the man’ himself, but we do know that, in the near future, a figure from Paulina’s past will show up in Salem. Leaks say Paulina will be placed in terrible danger. Her precarious predicament is said to be life-threatening but will lead to Lani wishing to reconcile with her true mother.
Will it be too late? That we can’t be sure of, but we can’t imagine Paulina will be leaving the show any time soon. We think a better question may be—is it really the vengeful Ray who shows up and is Paulina’s life actually in danger, or is this yet another one of Paulina’s plans that she has promised to never hatch again? Will Paulina fake the drama, all in the name of winning Lani, and perhaps Abe’s affections back?
