‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Connie Vilinski (Julie Dove) has been an… interesting addition to DOOL. That’s actually putting it mildly. But we are all in, because she’s been fun to watch. The thing is, she might seal her own fate. Here’s what you need to know.

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Connie intrigued us right off when she had her date with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). We couldn’t with the idea she is a True Crime stan who liked the idea of potentially dating a killer. Then, she disappeared a while and it seemed like she’d be forgotten. Wrong.

Recently, Gabi DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) was cleared of murdering Li, thanks to new evidence. However, the evidence was all misleading. As Gabi walked out a free woman, we learned it was really Connie who killed Li after he rejected her.
She’s apparently been living in Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) old apartment, where she is constantly interacting with Li’s ghost.
We’ve loved watching those scenes. Li’s deadpan (pun intended) responses are top-notch writing. But things took a bit of a darker turn when she found out Bobby Stein (Blake Berris) had spotted her after the crime and heard her apologizing to Li.
Now, we’re not going to say this plot has been perfect. We thought Gil Carter (David S. Lee) entering the apartment right after the murder would explain the bloody print that cleared Gabi.
That was not the case. He didn’t appear to get anywhere close to the blood on Li’s back. Plus, Connie’s dress looked clean right after the crime, but somehow was covered in blood while she was at the park.
She’s so far managed to dodge a bullet as far as being exposed. Until she learned there was someone who could identify the killer. Connie visited Bobby and made him an offer. She’d get rid of his competition for Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) if he kept quiet.
Last we saw them, she told Bobby Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) would no longer be a problem. But is she getting in way over her head?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Promises, promises…
So, it looks bad right now. The Monday, July 15 episodes ended with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) declaring they’re losing Rafe. We don’t buy that happening. The Salem PD is already sorely understaffed and a bit of a joke, so we can’t see them writing off one of the few prominent people there. Which leads to a problem for Connie.
Now, we aren’t saying Connie isn’t dangerous. She’s already stabbed two people in the back. And her rant to Li followed by an offer to work for Gabi tells us she’s got another target in her sight. And she’ll likely want to off Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) as well.
But let’s get real. Connie seemed a little out of her depth with Bobby. Sure, she approached things well. But Bobby was cool as could be, not even remotely afraid. He pointed out all the cameras that could expose her as a killer if anything happened to him. So, he’s clearly no lightweight here.
Plus, there has always been a darkness to the character that we find disturbing. We can see him losing it on Connie when/if Rafe survives. She didn’t fulfill her part of the bargain.
What might an angry Bobby do when he’s been let down? We also know he’s smooth enough to fool a therapist into releasing him. Connie, meanwhile, made that crack about not stabbing Gabi in the back.
Not to mention her talking to herself aloud in public following Li’s death. And her monologue after Rafe’s attack. We believe if it came down to it, Bobby would own her.
