‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal the rest of 2023 is going to be quite a ride! Instead of a weekly promo, we got a two minute video with so much action, it’s a lot to unpack. Although there are some things in here we’d rather not see happen. Here’s a look at what’s ahead.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Victory!
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal from the minute it was revealed Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) had a secret child, we were hoping it would turn out to be Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).
And the promo released October 20th shows that’s the case. Although we question Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) having any part in everyone thinking it was Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) instead. She sounds too surprised and upset when she and Konstantin (John Kapelos) read that information.
Of course, there is always a chance that’s not a current day Theresa and Konstantin making that discovery. The writers have been known to tweak things when they want, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they re-worked Theresa’s time with that briefcase to allow for the discovery and some forgery to make Alex the heir.
Either way, this is going to hit everyone in the family hard. But we are happy Xander will be revealed as the true son. He always wanted Victor’s love and acceptance. Being claimed in that will and given half of everything is a perfect twist for Xander that will do him a lot of good.
Although we’re sure this will rock Alex once again, we believe he’ll ultimately be happy to know Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) is his real father after all.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Not this again…
In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, we’re experiencing some déjà vu here when it comes to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Now, fans are pointing to a 2010 situation with her. But as newer viewers who weren’t tuning in then, this is reminding of a time shortly before the time jump that changed everything in Salem.
The promo features Nicole getting into an accident. Apparently, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) with either be involved or come across her and get roped into helping her deliver the baby. This is very similar to Sarah’s accident before she had to give birth to her late daughter on the side of the road.
Just like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Nicole is going to be led to believe her baby died so Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) can claim she adopted the child for her and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) to raise.
Which will be Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) idea. We’re really not liking the repeated story and the way it’s basically going to doom Sloan’s character. There’s little chance of her coming back from this when the truth inevitably comes out.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The plot thickens
Finally, let’s talk about the situation with Clyde Weston (James Read) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Recently, he used Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) to control Ava, making her run his drug business from the outside. But here’s a little twist the promo threw at us: apparently, it looks like Ava won’t be working alone.
In one scene, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) tells her that Clyde called him, saying the Bistro wasn’t just going to be a front for the drug operation. We do not see any reason for Stefan to have anything to do with Clyde or his business.
However, we wonder if the other clip where Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) tells Stefan, “he’s dead” has something to do with this. The body looks to be Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman), and she’s in the apartment Tripp lives in. So, we wonder if Ava does something he doesn’t like, so an attack on Tripp goes wrong, leading Li to get killed instead.
We wonder if Clyde will ultimately end up using that to bring more people into his scheme. Or, might Clyde set up Gabi that way because he wants another DiMera involved for some reason. We’ll see. But we do believe this is the beginning of the end for Stabi.
