‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers pose the question: How will Philip Kiriakis (John Paul Laviosier) discover that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) deceived him and colluded with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to unravel the Titan-DiMera merger?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Philip “Confessed” To Gabi About Forging Victor’s Letter
In the March 24th episode of DOOL, Philip made a very significant confession to Gabi. He told her he loves her, which prompted Gabi to say she loves him back.
Gabi was clearly touched by Philip’s sweet words, and she definitely reciprocates the feelings. However, falling in love with Philip wasn’t part of Gabi’s plan.
DOOL fans know that Gabi committed corporate espionage by planting a surveillance bug to spy on Philip and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in Xander’s office.
She scored a recording in which Philip admitted to forging a letter from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) that falsely claimed the late patriarch wanted Philip to run Titan.
Philip and Xander went to court to fight over the company, and the judge ruled that the brothers would share Titan in a 50/50 split.
The forgery rendered the Titan-DiMera merger illegal, as it was fraudulently used to establish Philip as co-CEO of Titan.
Gabi took the information to Tony, who blackmailed the Kiriakis brothers into relinquishing DiMera and giving it back to him.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Titan Suffered Due to Gabi and Tony’s Actions
Tony has also manipulated Gabi into believing that she would become the CEO of DiMera if she got information damaging enough for him to reclaim the family company.
Unfortunately for Gabi, Tony was playing her and gave the CEO position to Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews). He did, however, give her back her fashion line, Gabi Chic, no strings attached.
As a result of Gabi and Tony’s actions, Titan has suffered. The company is in serious financial trouble. If Philip found out that Gabi betrayed him, it would be very difficult for him to forgive her.
Additionally, we have to wonder how Xander would react if he learned the truth about what Gabi did. Remember when Gabi and Xander went on a date at the Bisto before she and Philip were romantically involved?
Gabi kissed Xander seductively, and when Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) walked into the restaurant and saw them together, Sarah grabbed Brady and kissed him.
It sent Xander into a fit of rage, and he tried to fight Brady, but he ended up getting kicked out of the Bistro. Xander may recall that night and realize that Gabi was using a honeypot scheme to manipulate him and Philip.
He may even suggest to Philip that Gabi doesn’t really have true feelings for him, which we know isn’t true.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gabi Had the Perfect Opportunity to Tell Philip the Truth
However, it’s going to be an uphill battle for Gabi to earn back Philip and Xander’s trust if it even happens at all. Gabi has been hiding her role in sabotaging Titan.
And it’s not a matter of if he uncovers the truth, but a matter of when. Plus, we all know that Theo is smitten with Gabi. Gabi admitted the truth to Theo and swore him to secrecy when this all went down.
We’re not necessarily saying he would spill on purpose, but he may accidentally reveal Gabi’s role in the financial crisis Titan is facing now.
Another person who could potentially out Gabi is Tony. He would have no issue with exposing Gabi to Philip and Xander, especially since they think Tony is responsible for the state Titan is in now.
Lastly, Xander himself may somehow overhear Theo and Tony discussing Gabi’s secret for whatever reason. Xander would have the unpleasant task of telling Philip about what Gabi did. It would be really soapy if it happened on Philip and Gabi’s wedding day, let’s say.
Also, Gabi had the perfect opportunity last week to come clean to Philip about how she helped Tony tank, Titan. Philip thought he was confessing a secret to Gabi about the letter forgery, but of course, she already knew.
She obviously feels guilty and wants to tell him, but she’s too afraid of losing him. Philip would undoubtedly be blindsided by hearing the truth from Gabi, but it would be much better if she told him now, before someone else beats her to it.
