‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest we may have officially seen the end of Body and Soul. The big reveal on February 5th was that nutty Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles) was the culprit behind the tainted cupcakes, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) plummeting down the elevator shaft, and now the poisoned scripts.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Fans Suspected Nurse Whitley Was The Culprit
Body and Soul has been cursed for months now. The soap-with-in-a-soap has managed to alienate viewers with all that campy humor and persistent inside jokes.

Former head writer Ron Carlivotti’s material comes to an end this April. The new head of the writing team is Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford.
While many fans are counting down the “Days,” others worry that Carlivotti’s signature sense of humor will be sacrificed for more standard soap fare.
While that’s a valid concern. Days has always been a bit more outrageous than the other daytime dramas. Known for its supernatural and kooky plotlines, it’s a soap whose unique charm is sometimes underrated.
However, fans think Body and Soul went overboard even for Days. We know the stalker storyline has come to its inevitable conclusion. Albeit, it wasn’t a surprise that Nurse Whitely was the one behind all the chaos and calamity.

Fans had already figured out it was Nurse Whitley when it became clear that Kerry Youmans (Derek Yates) was only responsible for the Lady Whistleblower column and not the tainted baked goods.
The Days February preview showed that Body and Soul is moving production to Los Angeles by the end of the month. That means viewers have almost surely seen the last of the silly soap spoof.
Body and Soul seems like a magnet for disaster. One of the major stars is in the hospital and will be out of commission for a long time.
Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) quit her role as a PR agent to be with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). We knew the soap was running on borrowed time.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The Curse Of Body And Soul
Nurse Whitley attacked and almost killed the cast of Body and Soul because she didn’t like Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) and Kate Roberts’s (Lauren Koslow) choice of actors or the direction the stories were headed.
Nurse Whitley wasn’t about to sit back and let her favorite show sink to low standards. She devised a plan.

Whiley was able to move stealthily around Bayview, the psychiatric facility, and procured poison to kill the cast and crew of Body and Soul. She also got her hands on a burner phone from inside Bayview.
How exactly did she manage Bonnie’s fall down the elevator shaft from the place? What about the cupcakes? She apparently achieved all her goals from behind those walls.
It’s all a bit far-fetched and unbelievable, but then again, so are soap operas in general. We, the fans, suspend our disbelief on a regular basis. That’s the unspoken rule of watching soap operas.
After everything Abe and Kate have been through to keep Body and Soul going, we can see this as the final straw. It’s a safe bet that while Nurse Whitley didn’t successfully kill the cast members, she did kill Body and Soul.
