‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that star Galen Gering is one happy guy, singing the praises of pretty much everyone on the DOOL set.
The soap veteran spoke to Soap Opera Digest, saying how happy he is to be at work while commending the production team for the “incredible job they’ve done with this pandemic, keeping people safe.”
But a big reason Galen loves coming to set each day is working with Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and 2021 Daytime Emmy nominee, Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali).

“They’re so great,” Galen gushed. “I pinch myself that it’s like ‘Wow, I get to work with these gals?’ It’s great!”
Currently on screen Rafe is romancing Ava, but it doesn’t look like it will be long before a triangle forms with Nicole throwing her hat into the ring to cosy up to the cute commissioner.
Galen continued telling Soap Opera Digest about how fun it is to act with both Tamara and Arianne adding that the two women are very professional and always ready to “mix it up and try something different.”
Galen counts himself as one lucky guy.
Other actors Galen appreciates the opportunity to work with are Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) and Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton). Galen, like audiences, simply love watching the two play off each other, as they have been doing on and off for decades!
Galen then began to wax lyrical about his start on the soap, 13 years ago, and working with Alison. “We worked together so much and she’s just always good,” he remembered. “To be able to revisit some of that has been great because she’s the best.”
Alison is not on a full time contract with Days, but executive producer, Ken Corday has promised we will see Alison on screens throughout the summer. Now that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel) is slated to return in less than two weeks, it seems there will be endless opportunities for Sami to continue popping by once this current stint is up.
We sure hope so- and so does Galen!
