‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Gabi Herandez‘s (Cherie Jimenez) and Rafe Hernandez‘s (Galenn’t been Gering) cousin is coming soon to Salem.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: “Javi” Could Be A New Love Interest For Leo
The cousin’s name hasn’t been officially released yet, but actor Al Calderon will portray him. The character’s unofficial name is said to be Javi.
The only information shared about the new character is that he’s 29 years old. That doesn’t necessarily mean that Calderon will play someone close to his actual age.
After all, Tate Black (Leo Howard) is a teenager in high school, but the actor is actually 27. Javi could come to Salem and cause drama for Tate and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), whose relationship may already be over.
However, there is a lot of buzz about Javi being gay. Javi could be a new love interest for Leo Stark (Greg Rikkaart), who has struggled romantically. Could Javi be “the one” for everyone’s favorite soap scribe?
There may also be a love triangle between Leo, Javi, and Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson). Stark said he felt strongly that Dr. Greene was “batting on the same team as him.”
Mark had commented to Leo that he had been talking on the phone with his girlfriend, but it’s possible he was conspiring with his sister, “fake Abigail” (AnnaLynne McCord).
Perhaps his “gaydar” truly is off with Dr. Greene, and he won’t find a suitable partner again until he meets Gabi and Rafe’s cousin.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: “Javi” Could Work With Leo On Body & Soul
The last time Leo had any romance was with Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte), who had an affair with Leo while he was involved with his BFF, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Dimitri broke Leo’s heart when he broke up with him in a letter after meeting another man. The last time we saw Leo flirting with someone was in the Square when a hunky man turned him down because Leo didn’t realize the guy was straight.
Javi could come to town and find work on Body & Soul. With Leo’s help, he could even become a significant soap star. He could even be the co-head writer with Leo, and the two could fall for each other.
Maybe since a new Hernandez is coming to town, a not-so-dead Arianna Hernandez (Lindsey Hartley) might follow. No one is ever really dead on soaps, and that goes double for Salem.
Perhaps Arinna’s dead body was carted off somewhere after the “fatal” accident. Dr. Rolf (William Utay) could then bring her back to life.
Before Arianna died, she was about to blow up Sami Brady‘s (Allison Sweeny) life. She was going to tell EJ Di Mera (then James Scott) that Sami was the one who shot him when she ran out into the street and was hit by a car.
Hurricane Sami is set to return to Salem soon, so perhaps now is the perfect time to resurrect Arianna. It could be an epic family reunion for Gabi and Rafe.
While Gabi and Rafe have never mentioned “Javi,” it will be interesting to see how he fits in with the rest of the canvas, so stay tuned.
