First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate the bond between Chad and Cat grows. We’ve already seen them getting closer since the elevator incident, and Tuesday, August 19 will be yet another step towards the inevitable.
However, we wonder how this is going to go long-term. Cat clearly seemed to be uncomfortable, despite her attraction to Chad. We expect that’s because she is currently assigned to investigate his family. Not to mention, she was basically pumping him for information about the supposedly dead patriarch. We’ll see if that makes her pull away.

Elsewhere, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) act as each other’s sounding board as they discuss family issues. We think it’s a safe bet that the Chad/Cat thing is going to be tops on Julie’s list. Chad, after all, had to stay at Cat’s place after being exposed to Strep Throat. She clearly had an opinion about that when Chad called to let her know, and we never actually heard her side of that conversation.
Marlena, of course, is going to be pre-occupied with her grandson being on trial. Not to mention, her daughter being forced to prosecute the case and dealing with the fall out from facing EJ in court.

Speaking of the Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) trial, Chanel is questioned on the stand. Obviously, the issue of her supposed threat is going to come up. We’re not sure how hard Belle Black (Martha Madison) will go, but we suspect it’s going to be a pretty easy day for her. Well, besides sitting helpless while Johnny worries about her future instead of worrying about his own situation.

Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Johnny and Belle make their closing statements at the trial. So, we will soon know whether or not Johnny will get off. But while we have to wait a minute for Johnny’s verdict, we won’t have to wait for the case to be solved. Teasers say who shot EJ is finally brought to light.
