Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 2: Betrayed?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Chanel is left devastated by the latest. We saw her call out Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) for basically being the reason another adoption attempt fell through. And now that she has some evidence he’s getting inappropriate with Holly, she’s even more hurt. We’re sure this is going to be another moment where Johnny needs a place to go, and she’ll likely lean on her mother.
We have to say, we’re a bit surprised here. Obviously, things look bad between the letter and that picture that appeared on Johnny’s phone. Still, it wasn’t that long ago she was accused of sleeping with her Body and Soul co-star, when it was Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). So, we kind of expected her to at least have some doubts as to this being for real.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 2: Panic time—again
Elsewhere, Sophia goes into panic mode. We’re not sure why, precisely, but we’d guess it has to do with Holly. Either she’s worried something she did caused the fire, or she’s worried about getting that phone back undetected now that the room’s been closed off.
Of course, it could also be related to those surprising DNA results. We wonder how Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) might have managed to not only find out a DNA test was happening, but where. And who to maybe pay off to change the results. If Melinda was behind that, we can see Sophia being worried that someone wanted answers enough to do a DNA test and she might worry the test might be done a second time.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 2: Trouble
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal college drama. Tate Black (Leo Howard) opens up to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about everything going wrong. Clearly, Holly’s latest rejection is going to sting. We just hope Brady will be double down on how wrong what Tate did was and encourage him to do better in the future.
As for Holly, she’s got her own problems. Maggie Kirakis (Suzanne Rogers) tells her some hard truths. We don’t know enough of her parents’ history to know if they were also addicts, but we do know Maggie’s been in recovery for years. And much like Brady warned Tate, that family connection makes her more susceptible to problems. Especially since only about a year or so ago, Holly actually OD’s on drugs and was in a coma. So, drinking (especially underage) is not a good idea.
If the writers are interested in bringing any sense of reality here, Holly should also likely face some issues with the Salem U administration. Not just for underage drinking on campus, but also the fact her binge let to a fire on school property.
