Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 8: You what!?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal it was fun while it lasted. Only a couple of days or so after the engagement, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) blows up at Alex. Okay, we’re being dramatic. The winter promo proves they’re going to get past this argument. Still, this is not an ideal start to the wedding that will inevitably be a disaster. Because how else does a Salem wedding turn out?
Specifically, she’s going to be furious with Alex about her book tour being cancelled. No matter his intentions, Stephanie is not going to be happy that he took that decision out of her hands. She’ll likely circle back to the great phone mishap that led to their first breakup. She’ll likely have fully intended to go ahead with that tour, regardless of the threat instead of letting this stalker control her life. And she likely won’t be happy to have Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) approving of the decision. Because you know he will. We won’t be surprised if she pushes to get the tour back on track and warns Alex not to do anything like this again.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Belle look to each other to move on. We’re guessing EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) won’t be thrilled to learn his ex and his brother are getting closer. Especially after the crypt incident should have the DiMeras sticking together more than ever before. But we do understand the reasoning, to some extent. Both Belle and Chad are dealing with love issues and want to rebuild. Especially Chad, as he is determined to keep his kids and moving on with another woman would definitely make a certain hypocritical family member happy. Maybe happy enough to drop this custody challenge.

Finally, Theo has to face what it means to be a DiMera. Obviously, he was one of the worst affected by the crypt drama. Sure, Kristen got an infection and is struggling what she had to do to save them. But Theo was far more seriously injured and he’d already been warned about a hundred times by his father to keep his distance. So, we can see this making him wonder if the CEO job is truly worth it. And if his father was right all along.
