Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 23 reveal Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is at a loss. Meanwhile, poor Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) has a family feud to deal with. Plus, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) get a lead. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 23: Support system
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Kristen is losing it over Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) disappearance. Obviously, any mom would. But given she once thought Rachel died at birth, this is hitting her even harder. Teasers also say that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will be there to provide comfort to her. And we believe this might have been Rachel’s plan all along, bringing them together through their pain.
Of course, she might have just been angry about both parents wanting her in therapy to take off. After all, Kristen basically took away Rachel’s hopes of a reunion, and she is her mother’s daughter. So, taking off to punish them is totally on brand. A possible reunion resulting from this would just be a happy accident.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 23: Reluctant Referee
In other news, Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) and Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) fight and Ava once again gets caught in the middle. Either Sophia finally got around to mentioning adoption, or that freak out over Sophia changing her appointment is upon us. From what we’ve see from Amy already, this will definitely get ugly. We expect Ava to try to calm things down, but history doesn’t give much hope Amy will listen. Amy should watch it, though. Ava likes Sophia and she is not shy about spouting off to Kristen and others. Plus, you know, running a crime family! So, as tough as Amy can be, she’s really no match if she wants to push Ava too hard.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 23: Bad news?
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Shawn and Belle deal with something that has them unnerved. As we know, the Salem PD is doing everything possible to find Rachel. We believe this has to do with that search, as the promo mentioned finding a child that matches Rachel’s description. Sadly, said child is an accident victim. We sure wouldn’t want to be the ones to bring that news to Kristen! Luckily, though, we know from casting news the Rachel character isn’t going anywhere. And the current Rachel will interact with a new character who debuts Friday, January 24.
