    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 1 reveal Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) is not a happy mother-to-be. Meanwhile, Gabi DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Plus, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) needs a favor. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 1: Problems…

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal trouble in paradise. It seems Chanel’s starting to resent Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), and it’s a struggle for her. Now, to be fair, we are on Johnny’s side in a way this time. We completely understand why he’s worried about this pregnancy. However, that definitely brought Chanel down when she was feeling the joy of pregnancy and the relief of it not being something worse. Put that together with her disapproval of his involvement in DiMera, and it’s no wonder she’s struggling.

    We imagine this whole situation is going to be a long-term building of issues that will eventually blow up. Like when people find out Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) is essentially using Johnny right now. And when EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) unveils his big surprise on her mother, things will go downhill even faster.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 1: Double trouble

    Elsewhere, Gabi and Gwen’s bond grows. We already saw the pair bonding a little bit back. As the dress project continues, they’re going to have a lot to do and talk about. And we’re not sure Salem is ready for this pairing, any more than they’re ready for Gwen and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to start plotting.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 1: Time’s almost up…

    Finally, the Hernandez family prepares for the wedding. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal it didn’t look like much was done yet when we saw the couple inviting Gwen to the ceremony—that day! So, we imagine there is going to be a mad dash to get everything set up in time. We’re still uneasy about this ceremony, given Salem’s history. But we do like Javi and Leo and really want them to be happy.

    Related to this, Leo needs Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) help. This one will be no surprise! He’ll want Marlena to be the one to join him and Javi together, since she’s one of the people he’s closest to in town. And, as seen in the promo, Marlena will be more than happy to oblige. We just hope it doesn’t get interrupted…
