Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, December 18: Making plans
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal defensive measures. It seems Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), and Steve look for a solution. Obviously, that letter that set off a panic was just a clumsy relative who’d been baking. However, it did give a bit more urgency to the obsessed fan’s letters.
With Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) also aware now, the investigation should heat up. We know Steve’s gotten a lot of information about the letters and who is writing them. So, we suspect he’s going to put some other resources into this. Like, say reaching out to the ISA and other friends. They’ll focus hard on identifying and locating the writer, but we think Steve push for even more security measures than insisting he stay with them.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, December 18: Bad news
Elsewhere, Jennifer has bad news for Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher). Obviously, with more and more DiMeras missing, they know that this is bad, and the worst is possible. So, she’s likely going to share as much as possible about what’s going on while also trying to put as calm a spin on it as possible.
As for Thomas, we expect he’ll actually be worried and feel some guilt about how he’s been behaving. He might even blame himself on some level for Chad’s abduction. After all, if he hadn’t left the Horton house to give Thomas space, maybe things would have been different. We expect Jennifer to do everything possible to shut down that guilt and blame.

As for Abe Carver (James Reynolds), he leans on Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). With the latest disappearance, along with the time passing, Abe is also probably going to be thinking worst-case scenarios. Of course, Paulina will do her best to try to keep Abe positive, but we’re not sure her efforts will help much.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, December 18: Doom and gloom
Speaking of doomsaying, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) fear the worst. They’ll talk about their fears, and we have a feeling that conversation will be interrupted. We know another DiMera joins the crypt gathering on Friday, December 18. So, it’s very possible this could be a cliffhanger.
As for these two and their fears, they better hope EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) doesn’t hear them! He’s already disappointed in how this group has basically done nothing but sit there and accept their fate. If he hears them on the verge of giving up, he’ll lose it. Of course, maybe that will be a good thing. It might actually get someone other than Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to take more serious action to escape.
