Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, February 9 to Friday, February 13: Insurance policy?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a change is near. It seems Chad decides to leave town, and he’ll tell that to Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). He’ll be taking the kids to Arizona, which seems like a great choice if he’s going to leave. After all, he definitely has friends there. While we have yet to see if Chad will tell Cat this is a permanent move, or a little retreat, we do think the Chad who returns will not be Flynn. And the kids may be aged up, as we know at least one is leaving.
We’re not sure how we feel about this choice. We’d like to say Chad is thinking that a fresh start and new scenery will be healing for him and the kids. And they may yet be part of his decision. However, we feel like this is mostly Chad once more giving in. Despite his words, we think he’ll feel like staying in Salem will keep him from being able to breathe. He’ll think any even minor interaction with Cat will risk the case being reopened, so he’ll want to make it impossible for that to happen. And we honestly don’t feel that’s right.

In other news, Rafe talks about the implications of his and Gabi DiMera’s (Cherie Jimenez) suspicions with Eli. He’ll fill him in on them believing the divorce papers are forged, meaning Gabi was still legally Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) wife at the time of his death. Which means, she’s entitled to Stefan’s share of the DiMera fortune. If this was the old Gabi, we definitely think she’d jump at this. However, we wonder if the new Gabi won’t be interested in Stefan’s money at this point. Which could lead to some push back from the family. We’ll see.

Speaking of DiMeras, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal the family has said farewell to their patriarch. But EJ will have a surprise in store, as he gets a gift from Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharf) will present him with the Phoenix’s ring. He’ll tell EJ that Stefano’s final instruction was to give EJ the ring, which we know EJ will accept based on the winter preview.
