    ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for the week of Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 6 reveal Salem says goodbye to Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). Meanwhile, lots of familiar faces return to pay their respects. Plus, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will get a history lesson. Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 6: Surprise!

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was crushed when Doug passed away. Now, as she’s dealing with the loss and making arrangements, she’ll be shocked by an unanticipated guest.

    That would be her brother, Steve Olson (Stephen Schnetzer). Schnetzer is just one of many actors returning for the funeral and a big episode milestone for the show. Given what we’ve read about his past, it’s no wonder Julie will be shocked to see him. And we have a feeling she might not be thrilled, either. We’ll see.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 6: Reunion

    Elsewhere, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) also return to say goodbye. They’ll share a reunion with Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves).

    We assume Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) won’t be far behind and may even join this reunion. We’ll see, as there is definitely a reason to delay her arrival, since Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) is waking from that coma.

    That won’t be the only return. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will be surprised to see Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring) pop up at her door.  Plus, Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham) returns to Salem. She’ll have an encounter with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 6: Story time

    Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate there will be a lot of reminiscing about Doug ahead. Lani hears all about Doug’s long and colorful history from Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).

    We’re looking forward to more flashbacks to illustrate these stories. And from what we’ve learned of Doug’s history, colorful is definitely one way of putting it!

    There will be so much for them to work with, given Hayes spent over 50 years on the show! We had some concerns about how this tribute would go, given his 50th anniversary episode. However, so far, we think they’re going a great job in honoring the character and his portrayer.
