    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, May 5 reveal Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) plan. Meanwhile, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) has something to think about. Plus, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gives advice. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, May 5: Plan of action

    First, there’s the Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) situation. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal he’s in dire condition and Shawn knows there is a potential cure. After reaching out to Steve for help, Shawn and his father’s old friend hatch a plan. That plan, obviously, is stealing the drug Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz) developed.

    We’re surprised, in a way. Going by the weekly, Steve is going to confess what they’re up to and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will encourage him to move fast. We are not surprised she wants the cure for her brother, but we’re also sort of surprised she’s encouraging a theft. And that Steve is involving her. Plausible deniability and all that.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, May 5: Going out?

    Elsewhere, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) attempts to convince Cat to think things over. From what we saw in the weekly, it sounds like he will be the one to bring up the idea of them going on a date. In the clip, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) wants to know why he’d go out with her and questions if he has feelings for Cat. We think it’s obvious that he does, although we’ll be fair to EJ. He’s had a lot on his mind lately to pay attention to Chad’s potential romantic drama.

    Personally, we think it’s about time. And we wonder if his date with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will end up inspiring him to go for it. We can see the topic of them working on the fundraiser coming up and Maggie picking up on the obvious.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, May 5: Advice

    Finally, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) gets some words of wisdom from Marlena. Obviously, Johnny has a lot of work ahead of him to make things right after calling off the adoption. And we’re still not happy with him about that. We feel he at least owed it to Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) to keep silent as asked long enough for them to actually finish the conversation. We’ll see if Marlena get help Johnny work through his obvious issues.
