    ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, December 29th reveal we’re saying goodbye to another year in Salem. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is planning to kick off the year with a triumphant return. Meanwhile, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has no idea what’s going on. Here’s what you need to know.

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal it’s New Years’ and there’s gonna be a party at the Bistro. Let’s just take a moment to digest that. A New Year bash in Salem. A New Year bash being held in a front for a drug operation.

    This can only end well. There’s usually some big reveal or surprising event that comes with these things, and we think Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) better brace for trouble.

    In other news, we really hope this is not as bad as it might sound. It seems Victoria has a fever that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) notices while visiting Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). The last time she had a baby that got sick, there was a bad storyline to follow.

    And let’s not forget that things were tense between the two until recently, so we hope they’re not going to make her lose it on Xander for not noticing. He’s had enough problems here and, as much as we don’t want them as a couple, we’d rather there be peace between them.

    Of course, this could end up being a simple fever that will make them both worry and grow closer. Given Xander was talking moving in together in the Day of Days promo, this is a strong possibility.

    Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Leo pitches getting his column back to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), He’d better hope Chad agrees! At the rate he’s spending Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) money, she won’t have any to keep him at the Salem Inn.

    We do expect this to be a very hard sell, as Chad would have zero motivation to do anything for Leo. Even if he was the most popular columnist. Chad wants the paper to be more respectable and a gossip column isn’t that.

    Although, we enjoy hearing all the Lady Whistleblower scandals. Who knows? Leo might actually already be planning to tell all and might tease a scoop the Spectator can’t possibly miss out on.

    Finally, Nicole almost catches Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) popping pills before a date with Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann).

    We’re sure Nicole is going to look back on this night with a lot of guilt and hurt, as that promo we mentioned before shows Holly in a bad state. Marlena is really going to earn her money with those sessions.
