We’ll see Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) back and reflecting on the past. Meanwhile, Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) has had enough. Plus, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is in for a surprise. Here’s what you need to know.

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal the Horton tree trimming begins. This annual event brings the family together and honors current and former characters. The gathering will make Doug and Julie remember past Christmases. Sounds like we have some more flashbacks on the way, and we’re here for it. We love that old footage.

    Elsewhere, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and the kids also attend the tree trimming. The thing is, the children might not get much enjoyment out of it. They’ll be busy missing their mom and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). One good reason why Chad should not have gotten the kids involved in his relationship with Stephanie as fast as he did. Sure, they had an idea, but that didn’t mean he had to go all in with integrating Stephanie into their daily lives so quickly. And now, his issues have caused them more pain. We’ll see how deep they go in exploring the consequences of this breakup for the children.

    Meanwhile, the holidays might not be going so swell for Tate, either. He’s already dealt with heartbreak over Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). Now, he’ll blast his parents over their fights about Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). We’ve been waiting for this, as a teenager can only take so much of their parents’ drama.

    Finally, remember when we said Julie might want security at the Horton house? Well, it seems Sarah and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are surprised to see Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) at the tree trimming with Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos). We think surprised is probably understating their feelings. And we’re curious to see how far Maggie is going to go with letting Konstantin back in the loop. It wasn’t long ago she thought he was too dangerous to have around.
