Ben ended up telling Clyde why he’s there, and who is likely responsible. While on the surface, it seems like a harmless thing, this could have big consequences.

Clyde apparently decided to step up and do something helpful for Ben. In a surprising move, he took action to clear Ben’s name. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Clyde has outside connections. He used those connections he used to snatch Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby. He’s sure that this is the leverage needed to make Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) own up to framing Ben. Obviously, Ben is horrified by this. He also believes that if the connection is made, he’ll just look more guilty than ever. It could destroy Ben’s final appeal. There was one good side to this, though.

Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), as you might know, is determined to prove Ben Weston is innocent. After moving into Casa Kiriakis, she’d overheard the men talking about a favor, which has only made Ciara more certain of her suspicions. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Ben was not happy about this. He had good reason to be upset. In the November 20th episode, Ciara is caught snooping by Xander. This could have had disastrous consequences, but the Soap Gods stepped in. In a great twist of timing, Sarah calls Xander to tell him about the kidnapping. This causes Xander to race to Sarah’s side, leaving Ciara safe from uncomfortable questions. We’re betting that won’t last long. If Xander is really hiding such a secret, he’s going to want to keep it from coming to light. Sooner rather than later, he’ll bring it up again. But will it be too late?

Ben is feeling terrible about the kidnapping, and so is Ciara. While we’re sure Ciara will take advantage of the distraction, we don’t see this going on long. One or the other is going to crack, despite Clyde’s assurances the baby won’t be harmed. It’s a toss-up as to who will crack first. Ben doesn’t like Clyde’s plan at all, and Ciara is the one who will actually have to watch Sarah suffer. However, we have to give the edge to Ben. Ciara’s too upset about Ben’s impending execution. We can’t imagine her doing anything that would risk getting to the truth.
