Days of Our Lives spoilers relate that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) come up with a plan, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) makes a confession, and there may be trouble in the Brady/Hernandez home. In case you missed the Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, here are some highlights in today’s Days of Our Lives recap.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Claire Fantasizes About Burning Haley Alive, But Tripp Too Smart To Fall For Sinister Trap
Claire is still determined to keep her man, and agrees to a plot with Eve. Her idea? Get Claire to tape Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) proposing to Hayley Chen (Thia Megia) so she’ll appear to be helping them out. After the video’s up, she’ll get Tripp to join her for a romantic interlude at the Salem Inn. Eve and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will bust them and make Jack a big hero to his base yet again. Jack expresses some worry and doubt about this for Tripp’s sake, but Eve does her thing and gets him to to say screw Tripp.

Claire’s first part in the plan works perfectly. She and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) listen to Tripp and Hayley go over their story, and Claire claims that it’s not being pulled off well enough. She puts the viral video idea out there, and they’re for it. It goes off without a hitch (except for Claire fantasizing about threatening to burn Hayley alive and her “oh, my God, that’s enough” reaction when they end the “surprise” proposal video with a kiss). It’s the second part that’s an issue. Claire suggests the trip to the Inn, and Tripp tells her they can’t do that. Oops. Guess someone is smarter than they thought. We were wondering if Tripp was going to be dumb enough to sneak around with Claire at the same place their worst enemies in this whole thing are staying. That’s like discussing your secret plot at the Park of Discovery.
Leverage? What leverage?
Sarah wasn’t going to sit around and let Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) blackmail Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) over something she believes is 100% her fault. Eric tries to stop her, but Sarah confesses all to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Before she gets to the part where the kiss was initiated by her and Eric said there’s nothing between them, Rex was furious and nearly gets into a fist fight with Eric in the middle of the hospital. After he knows the full story, he’s calmer about Eric, but wants to know what this means for him and Sarah. She says that the whole thing started while she and Rex were broken up, but with no mutual feelings, she wants to move on—with Rex. He’s obviously happy to hear this and proposes yet again. This time, she says yes.

Someone’s about to get fired.
That’s what it’s looking like, anyway. After Abe Carver (James Reynolds) witnesses an argument between Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini), he pulls Rafe aside to find out what’s going on. Some of Rafe’s answers concern Abe, so he forces Rafe, as his boss, to spill whatever he knows about Ted. Rafe admits that Ted was behind those blackmail photos that cause him to recuse himself from the Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) attempted murder case. He’s furious, and lets Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) know about it when she joins them. He reads her the riot act over withholding such information from him, and the no-win situation he’s now in. If he fires Ted and tells all, he’ll look completely useless. If he doesn’t come clean, his opposition could find out he’s got a blackmailer in the DA position and use it against him. He’s so mad and obviously disappointed, we’re wondering how long until Hope’s sending out her resume. She seems to feel the same way, because after Abe leaves, she confronts Rafe about the situation. She actually accuses him of trying to get her fired because he never really got over the idea of her getting the job instead of him. Yeah, someone’s going to be on the couch for a loooong time.
