‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) may soon have a roommate in her plexiglass prison – her cousin, Claire.
As if things haven’t been bad enough for Ciara, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and his son Evan have now taken over from ‘dead-by-suicide’ Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) and his henchman, dead-by-Evan, Rhodes (Jason Downs).
Unlike the almost affable Rhodes, Evan has a lot more backstory with Ciara…and a lot less stability.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) the next to be held hostage by unhinged Evan Frears (Brock Kelly)!
While Orpheus wants to ransom Ciara off to her rich grandfather, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), his vengeful son isn’t quite playing the same game.
Evan wants payback, and he starts by trying to convince Ciara that her one true love, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is dead.
However, Ciara will fight back as Evan plays games with her mind, and soon the pressure of keeping Ciara held hostage and trying to keep his father placated will cause Evan to act without thinking. Spoilers say one of those actions is to kidnap Claire.
It’s not certain how Claire and Evan cross paths, but likely Claire will perform another ill-fated attempt at heroism. The plan didn’t work with Charlie, and it apparently doesn’t help Ciara either.
What will help, though, is Clyde Weston (James Read), Ben’s father. It’s Clyde who will give Ben his best lead since Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk)–the real Susan, not the ‘Bite Me’ Kristen/Susan–premonitions of sharks and glass boxes.
We don’t know yet how Clyde manages to get the information from Orpheus, but it probably won’t be that hard seeing as Orpheus very openly speaks with his son on the very public jailhouse phone. (Don’t they record jail telephone conversations?)
We’ve seen that Claire and Ben have gotten close lately. If this had been a year ago, Ben would be hell bent on getting Ciara back and wouldn’t really care what happens to Claire.
Now that the two are each other’s confidantes, Claire’s kidnapping may just complicate things for Ben once he does track his beloved Ciara down. It won’t be the first time Claire has made things worse, even if her heart is in the right place!
It could be a while before we see the conclusion of Ciara’s kidnapping ordeal, but keep watching Days of Our Lives, weekdays on NBC to watch how everything unfolds!
