‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Lexi Carver (Renee Jones) and Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) son, Theo Carver, when he was on DOOL from 2015-2018, then you are in for a treat because he will be returning! Only, instead of being played by Kyler Pettis, the performance which won Pettis a Daytime Emmy Award, he will now be played by Cameron Johnson.
Johnson’s got some big shoes to fill, it sounds like. He was a fan favorite and as the daytime emmy has proven, he really did a character with autism justice. However, we wonder just what Johnson will bring to the table.

Obviously he has to portray this character with autism and we wonder just what his take on it is. Aside from that, he was formerly involved with not only best friend Ciara Brady, but also Claire Brady. Ciara’s married now, or at least she was for all of 5 minutes before Eve Donovan stepped in and ruined all that, but coudl this mean that potentially Theo could end up with one of them?
I mean, stranger things have happened. It would be interesting to see an autistic character in an adult relationship because that’s so often not portrayed in media, neurodivergent people are often portrayed as adult children when the reality is, that most are not, they have romantic feelings and desires just like the rest of us.
Or his storyline could have something totally different, another type of intrigue, maybe even an action-based plot that would be more in keeping with his type of character. It could very well have something to do with the DiMera bloodline because let’s face it, he technically is a DiMera Grandson.
Come to think of it I wonder how Stefano would have felt about that, but I don’t think we ever got to know his opinion on Theo, but then again I think he kind of gave up being involved in Lexi’s life at some point. Probably in order to avoid detection by Abe Carver, her then hubby.
(Fat lot of good that did. Abe, John, and almost everyone else always knew of his dastardly plans, but I digress.) We wish Cameron Johnson the best of luck to his new role, and look forward to whatever he will bring to the table. Stay tuned!!!
