    ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for August 15th reveal Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is ready to get back to work. Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has something to say to Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens). Plus, the honeymoon might already be over for a certain newlywed. Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For August 15: Back in action?

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Abe attempts to return to his role as Mayor. We have a feeling “attempts” will be the operative word here. Acting Mayor Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) wasted no time in putting his stamp on Salem, so we have a feeling he’ll fight any attempt on Abe’s part to take back the job.

    Of course, we’re curious how he ended up in this position to start with. Abe mentioned a deputy mayor that would take over for him when he was planning to move with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).

    This deputy mayor should be the one on the job right now, and we refuse to believe Rawlings is the person Abe was referring to. He’s already demonstrated a power-hungry side and an attitude Abe would never have accepted in a running mate.

    Not even close. Of course, knowing how DOOL can go at times, this probably is the person and we’re supposed to just accept this strange pairing. We smell another political message story ahead, and we have to say that’s not the show’s strong suit.

    Elsewhere, Johnny tells Chanel how he really feels about her. We’ve been waiting for that and hope they just get this over with already. As we mentioned before, the fates seem to be on their side and it just makes sense.

    They never would’ve broken up to start with had Johnny not been possessed. Making this seem more likely, teasers also say that Chanel admits something to Paulina. Might this be that she still feels a pull to the ex? We’ll see.

    Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers say Dimitri Von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) honeymoon is not going as he’d intended. And we don’t think you need to be psychic to see that one coming! Inviting the lover on your honeymoon trip spells trouble.

    What Happened To Young and the Restless & Days of Our Lives' Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher/Leo Stark)?

    Especially when it’s the bride’s BFF. We assume he’ll try to ditch Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to spend time with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and won’t be able to.
