‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers hears that fans have been promised some Cin-ful romance this week. DOOL head writer, Ron Carlivati has divulged that fans of supercouple Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will enjoy some romantic interludes on the journey to the long-lost pair reuniting. And just in time for Valentine’s Day, things will get downright Shakespearean.
We’ve seen Ciara in her very ‘You’ reminiscent plexiglass box with little to do but try to escape (it didn’t work) or read. When Ciara drifts to sleep, it’s no surprise that her dreams will revolve around the literature Rhodes (Jason Downs) has provided.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Fans can expect a romantic, and Shakespearean, Valentine’s Day.
Ciara will see herself as Juliet and her Romeo- no, it’s not Leonardo, it’s her one true love of course, husband Ben.
But is there more to this than simply a romantic dream? C’mon this is ‘Days of Our Lives’- of course there is! Ben, all the way back in Salem will have the exact same dream. And it won’t be the last time the two reach out to one another in the celestial world.
While this will satiate Cin fans until we see Ben and Ciara together again, it also may serve as somewhat of a bad omen. While Romeo and Juliet has its share of romance, there is quite the amount of turmoil for the star-crossed lovers, too.
Ben and Ciara faced a Capulet/Montagu type situation at the beginning of their relationship, not too many folk would be super pumped to see their loved one chose a reformed serial killer for a husband, but is a Romeo and Juliet tragic ending also part of their fate?
Could all this Shakespearan romance be Carlivati’s way of warning to fans that Cin may not get the reunion they’re literally dreaming of? Yes, we are all aware that Victoria Konefal is only on a recurring character status, but killing Ciara off, especially around Valentines Day? O, Thou ominous and fearful owl of death!
Watch ‘Days of Our Lives’ weekdays at 1pm ET on ABC to see if Ciara casts off her mortal coil, or ends up with her Romeo!
