‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that star Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and real life beau, Shawn Christian (ex Daniel Jonas) are officially engaged!
Shawn popped the question to his long time love, Arianne-whom he met in fictional Salem-on Father’s Day. Shawn divulges that he took Arianne on a boat ride and shocked her by getting down on one knee. Awwww.
Shawn gushed, “I love surprises, and this surprise proposal on our boat cruise was a magical blessing. She said YES!!”

He admitted that keeping the secret was no easy task, but he had assistance in the form of Shawn’s step-daughter, Taylor from his first wife, Deborah along with Taylor’s husband Cameron and the boat captain, to whom Shawn gave a shout out, saying, “Deeply grateful Captain Shane for setting us sail on an indelible memory!”
As Shawn shared the engagement news on his Instagram with the sweetest video, he gushed in the caption, “I’m so blessed to begin another chapter with this wonderful woman who brings out the best in me as a person, parent and partner.”
The 55-year-old ‘Days of Our Lives’ alum is a father to one son, Kameron.
Arianne also posted the video to her IG, saying “So, words can’t describe how happy I was this day! [Shawn] completely surprised me on Father’s Day! I had no idea!”
Her caption continued as she told the world about her new fiance’s beautiful heart and how wonderful he always makes her feel.
47-year-old Arianne was previously married a to a different DOOL alum, Kyle Lowry (ex-Brady Black and Rex Brady) from 2002 to 2014. They share a daughter, Isabella.
Kyle shared that the pair are on good terms and it felt strange not to be able to hang out with her on set the last time he visited, due to Covid restrictions.
Arianne and Shawn have been dating for approximately 7 years.
