‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that things are taking a curious turn in Salem now that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) has informed everyone she doesn’t agree with her mother and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) getting married.
It’s not that we didn’t expect it given how weddings typically go in Salem, but the fact it’s coming from the desires of a teenager who is afraid her future step brother won’t be interested is a new twist.

In so many ways, this feels like a Hallmark movie gone sideways, especially with Holly telling Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) the white lie that she likes Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) instead.
‘Days of Our Lives’ understand her for not telling Nicole the real reason given it’d totally embarrass her and “destroy” her life.
It’s over dramatic, sure, but it’s the type of fun we’ve come to expect from teens on television.
But since this is Salem, we have to wonder how far will she take things following her Halloween dream?

Since there’s no way she can really prevent EJ and Nicole’s wedding, Holly may come up with another idea to delay it and give her a chance to win Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) over.
This is where her Halloween dream could come in handy as she could enlist Tate Black (Jaime Martin Mann)’s help in causing a distraction.
Of course, there’s every chance it’ll go sideways and blow up in their faces in some way before it’s all over, and since we already know EJ and Nicole get married it won’t delay things too much.
So, that leaves Holly with little choice but to try to end it after they make things official.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Busting Sloan
Assuming the wedding goes off without much of a hitch, Holly won’t be happy and she’ll try to find other ways to separate her mom and EJ.
Since Salem is great at having people walk in on others while they’re talking or eavesdropping, we have a feeling she’ll overhear Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) talking with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) about Eric being Nicole’s baby daddy.
It seems a stretch, but it’d make sense given most of the evidence is gone, and this could lead to Holly trying to prove it.
How she’ll do that will be interesting, but given how the rest of her plans have gone, we have a feeling this one won’t stand much of a chance.
