Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva have been slammed after they shared videos from Turkey showing they were getting some dental work done.
Darcey & Stacey: Fans Slam The Twins For Sharing Photos From A Dental Clinic In Turkey Following The Country’s Earthquake-‘They Don’t Give A S***’
The twins are known for having had procedures, which is why they often get criticised for not embracing their natural beauty. But this time around, the grievances were more to do with the current climate in Turkey.
The country, alongside Syria, had suffered a huge earthquake that killed over 30,000 people. Not only that, but with people having lost houses, coupled with the fact that they are struggling to keep warm, it has left people reeling.
And at a time where there is a desperate need to get some aid to those suffering, they appeared out of touch. After all, it would have made more sense not to post anything from the country, or do something better by posting something that could benefit those who had suffered.
And yet, in the pictures here, we can see the two sisters showing off their new teeth. They have massive smiles on their faces and could not be any happier with the results, as they tagged the dental clinic while being in Istanbul. As they did so, they also shared some footage of the facilities.
It is not surprising, then, that the response on social media was brutal. Large numbers of people called out the twins and felt they should have been ashamed for their tone-deaf posts.
One person wrote: “They have no regards for anyone but themselves, they don’t give a s***. More dental work? I thought they wanted the ‘chiclets’ look,” while another person stated: “They thought this would be the best time to do that, right after the most devastating earthquakes the nation had ever seen.”
It is fair to say that this was not the finest moment for the sisters. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
