Dancing with the Stars,’ Witney Carson expressed her deep worries about returning back to her usual weight in the aftermath of her pregnancy.

The professional dancer has taken an extended break from the show, which was understandable. Having said that, maternal duties have been easier in comparison to the struggle in maintaining her fitness levels. During an interview with Us Weekly, Witney said: “It has been difficult. The first day that I got home … I just felt so not like myself.”
Given that she was praised for being one of the most popular dancers on the show, Witney began to express reservations about how the public would view her, if she could not maintain those standards. But after having shed the pounds, there are questions about when Witney is going to make a return to the show.
As of now, there is no immediate date set on a comeback. She has chosen not to put any extra pressure on herself. After all, she has been through a lot. She added: “You’re grateful for your body, but there’s also a part of you that is like, ‘Dang. Like, my body will never be the same. … I was really scared of how people would perceive me.”
On reflection, Witney’s worries were fully justified. Fellow dancer Lindsay Arnold was recently accused of editing her photos following her pregnancy. Although she denied doing such things, it did not stop the critics coming her way. In the picture, we can see Lindsay sunbathing as she lies next to a swimming pool.
On closer inspection, we can see Lindsay’s C-section scar, which was accused of being made to look a lot smaller. The post was captioned by the following comments: “My C-section scar is now my favourite part of my body…It is the representation of the thing I am most proud of in my life… I seriously want to show my scar to everyone.”
It is great to see Witney being a lot more comfortable with her appearance. Now that she has managed to overcome her problems, she will be better prepared to do it once again, should she decide to have another child.
