She can’t say she didn’t she this coming. Now that Sharon Osbourne is no longer a part of The Talk, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder what this means for the daytime television show. After all, Sharon was the face and the voice of the mid-day chatter for many years. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans know by now, Sharon and CBS parted ways on Friday when her team released a statement that said she would no longer be a part of the show. This all came after Sharon apparently went too far in her emotional debate with Sheryl Underwood earlier this month.

Things got so bad that Sharon was forced to apologize for defending her friend Piers Morgan – despite his attacks against Meghan Markle – and even led the producers to put the show on hiatus.

And now some fans are weighing in on the matter, with a lot of people taking to their social media accounts to say that Sharon got what she supposedly deserved.

Some comments have included, “What a ridiculous woman. She’s going to end up getting some lawsuits filed against her for toxic work environment,” along with, “I still believe they were trying to save her job but she just refuses to sit down, be quiet, take the lumps and regroup. That is why she was fired. She just refuses to shut up and listen.”

Another critic put it this way, “I’m seeing headlines and tweets about her being fired for defending Piers Morgan – and I’m like, no. that’s not why she was fired. She was fired for being racist towards her co-host, with her white woman tears, and because she also apparently has a long history of being racist. Like, to me the question isn’t why is she fired now. It’s how was she not fired ages ago for some of those comments?!?!?”

The Talk will return with original episodes on Monday, April 12, 2021, following the pre-scheduled hiatus the week of April 5th.
