‘Counting On’ spoilers reveal that another one of the Duggar kids is engaged! This time it’s Justin, who just turned 18, he announced on instagram that he and his girlfriend Claire Spivey are happily engaged. He said he couldn’t wait to start their lives together.
Claire announced on her instagram that she can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for them – awww! There was a source that said that Justin and Claire wound up engaged after two months, but that just isn’t true. Apparently, Justin and Claire have been courting for almost a year and a half.

Of course, on one of Jill Duggar’s post, hubby Derrick Dillard had to kind of squash the fairytale surrounding the pure and chaste Duggars. On Jill’s most recent youtube video where she was showing off her nosering, someone was congratulating her on her brother’s engagement then posed the question, “Why do you guys get married so young?” to which Derrick simply replied, “Because we want to have sex.”
You might have thought that this would have offended the previously straight-laced Jill, but no. When the comment got over 1500 likes, she simply replied, “You’re more popular than me, babe.” with a crying laughing emoji and an okay hand emoji.
Wow those two really have stepped outside the fundie lifestyle if they feel that open to speak on youtube. Usually, people within their circle are very modest, and very buttoned up and don’t really speak about such things, but apparently these two have been married for so long that they’ve relaxed the very stringent Duggar rules and have embraced a bit more of a modern lifestyle.
That being said, are Justin and Claire ready for such a commitment? They’re so young, and often when people are that age they’re still finding out what they like and don’t like. Sometimes you can find your soulmate that early, and sometimes you can’t. More often than not, you can’t, soulmates are rare when you’re 18 and 19 years old.
