Because Josh is not allowed to be anywhere near his pregnant wife Anna Duggar or their six children, he is expected to be under house arrest at a family friend’s home in northwest Arkansas.

As fans know by now, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s eldest son was arrested but also plead not guilty to possession of child pornography last week. During a detention hearing Wednesday, a federal investigator said the files Duggar is accused of downloading are some of the worst he’s seen in over a thousand child exploitation cases. The images allegedly show children, some under 12 years old, being sexually abused.
“This is a very close call and I’ve thought about it a lot before today, this hearing and today,” U.S. Magistrate Judge Christy Comstock said of her ruling. “I hope you don’t prove me wrong.”
And while reports say that Josh Duggar is looking at 20 years behind bars if he is proven to be guilty, he’s apparently been telling friends and family members that he believes he’s innocent. According to the Instagram site, Without a Crystal Ball, author Katie Joy says that she’s been given an exclusive interview by sources close to the Duggar family who say that Josh Duggar is telling his friends and family about the case and why he’s confident that he will win. If that weren’t enough, his wife, Anna Duggar, also believes that he will be home in no time.
