Josh Duggar thinks that he is an innocent man. At least, that’s what the former reality television star has been telling his close friends and family. Josh was arrested in Arkansas by the feds and only a few days after his wife Anna Duggar announced her seventh pregnancy.
Apparently, his arrest is in connection to explicit child content that he downloaded. If found guilty, Josh is facing up to 20 years in prison. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the Instagram site, Without a Crystal Ball, author Katie Joy says that she’s been given an exclusive interview by sources close to the Duggar family who say that Josh Duggar is telling his friends and family about the case and why he’s confident that he will win. If that weren’t enough, his wife, Anna Duggar, also believes that he is innocent.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for Josh’s critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them responded with, “He probably said he was framed or he accidentally downloaded those files. Or someone else used his computer. He’s never been accountable for his (mistakes) sexual abuse of minors,” along with, “There is no lie that can cover his crimes. They’ve got hard evidence on this fugly human. 2 year investigation is not wasted on him. He’s been lying his whole life to cover up indecent crimes against his sisters, his wife & now young children. Homeland Security don’t waste time on little crimes. He was in possession. Daddy can’t pray this one away. This family loves to Gaslight, so here come the lame a s s excuses via Duggar style to save tv reality show.”
Another critic wrote, “If someone falsely accused me of CSAI there’s no way I’d be smirking, even if I knew I could prove my innocence. Also if it was someone else and the accusations were that strong I would give their name in a second.”
Katie Joy also pointed out that while the Duggars have released their own statements about this matter, not one had asked for prayers for the children that were victimized in the material that the feds allege Josh Duggar downloaded.
