It appears as though Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar really do believe in their son Josh Duggar’s innocence and that’s why they are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he comes out of his child porn case not guilty.
In fact, there’s a new report that suggests in might be Jim Bob who is bankrolling his son’s defense after he was arrested for child porn just last week. Josh has been released on bail but is not allowed to be with his six children. Here’s what you need to know.
Counting On: Is Jim Bob Duggar Bankrolling Son Josh Duggar’s Defense in Child Porn Case?
Josh Duggar is facing a minimum of 25 years in prison for the possession of child porn, but his parents want to make sure that never happens. Instead, they are hoping that a good strong prayer will make his troubles go away so they can forget about all of this and move on with their lives.
According to blogger Katie Joy of the Instagram account Without a Crystal Ball, Josh’s parents are definitely sticking by his side, along with his long-suffering wife Joy-Anna Duggar, who can still see him, but without the kids. Josh is currently holed up at a friend’s house as he is not allowed to go home.
Katie writes, “Jim Bob Duggar is bankrolling Josh’s defense. He found friends to take Josh in. Josh will have no access to the internet, his phone & will be gps monitored. Anna can see him with the kids as much as she wants – but he cannot leave his custodians home.”
She also added, “TLC is bankrolling the defense of a pedophile that gets off on watching babies being raped. This is not ok. Counting on must be cancelled.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for her fans and followers to comment on the matter. Many of them wrote, “Nauseating. I do not feel sorry for Anna. He should have NO access to his kids and I hope she and the kids decided to leave that family. My heart only breaks for his children,” along with, “I am so disappointed in that judge. I am horrified by all the info we learned today. Josh is sick and depraved and does not deserve access to his kids. Ugh, I am livid! As a mother, I cannot fathom how Anna cannot put her children first.”
So far the Duggars have not made any additional comments about Josh Duggar’s case.
