It hasn’t been the easiest year for Yasmeen Nazir’s (Shelley King) time on the cobbles, and she could be set to become an integral part in the disappearance of one crucial character. Most recently, she has just come back from tying the knot with Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) in Las Vegas, but his behaviour is beginning to look more and more controlling.
Geoff insisted that should they have a wedding party, then it should be in their house rather than his son Tim’s. Not content with just rearranging the plans, he confessed to Yasmeen that he was going to speak to Alya (Sair Khan) in order to make amends. However, what he really got up to was nothing of the sort, and instead, he drove a bigger wedge between the two.

Geoff hunted down Alya in the Rovers and claimed the she had really upset her grandmother. Insisting that she wanted to make it up to her, she said that she would apologise at the wedding party. Geoff insisted that he didn’t think it would be a good idea for her to go since she would only upset her grandmother more.
Alya reluctantly agreed not to attend the party, but when Geoff gets back into the house, he tells Yasmeen a different story. After she has spent the day cleaning to appease Geoff, he tells her that Alya was rude and that she shouldn’t speak to her until she apologises to him for the way that she spoke. Yasmeen reluctantly agrees to not speak to her until she has apologised.

She will become the centre of another storm around Christmas, as a recently revealed picture showed Yasmeen looking overwhelmed with a lifeless body in the street. Fans were quick to take to social media and admit that the body on the floor had a lot of resemblances with Vicky Jeffries (Kerri Quinn).
The revelation would rock the street as Vicky has been missing since disappearing the day before Robert and Michelle’s wedding. The finger of blame will be firmly pointed at Robert when the discovery is made as he was the last person to see her when she was alive.
Vicky is also carrying Robert’s baby, and any evidence that she could give would be telling in his case of staying out of prison. We are likely to see Robert questioned by the police over the coming weeks, but is he innocent?
