Coronation Street Spoilers reveal it has been a turbulent few months for Nina, as she arrived in Weatherfield following the death of her father at the end of last year. But, as long as she has Roy Cropper on her side, she will always have a fighting chance. Roy has been her rock over the past number of months, as he has been looking over her and making sure she is okay.
He has been forced to wait by Nina, as she struggled to digest the death of her father. At first, she wanted to stay in her home, but after being evicted and made homeless, she was eventually happy to take up Roy’s offer of living with him and Carla.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Roy Furious With Bat-Watching Friends
Next week, fans will once again see Roy standing up for Nina, as his friends at the bat watching club begin to make fun of her for the way that she dresses. Farooq, Herman and Dave are introduced to Nina, as she also is fascinated by bats. But, the other members of the group quickly take a dislike to Roy’s niece.
They fail to connect with her, and they begin making fun of Nina in front of Roy. The Corrie legend is outraged that they would say such hurtful things about his niece and his immediately resigns. Brian, who is also a member, follows suit and quits with Roy out of respect for his friend.

After the meeting, Nina goes back to Roy’s flat and confides in Carla that she enjoyed the club meeting and is excited about returning. Roy refuses to admit that he stood up for her and instead tells her that the next meeting is cancelled. She soon learns that he was lying about the meeting being called off and confronts him about it.
Roy is then forced to admit that he wasn’t ashamed of being seen with her, and instead, he resigned because they were making fun of her. She is touched by his gesture, and the two of them enjoy a night alone watching bats, and their relationship continues to blossom.
